Welcome to SRP Badminton group a newly established badminton club located in the havering borough. We operate to provide social and competitive weekly badminton sessions with achieveing a goal of providing enjoyable and balanced matches during each session.

At SRP we aim to be an inclusive community inviting players from all skills ranges and backgrounds to join, play and grow with us, as there's more we have in common then not in common. We pride ourselves on building a strong community where players can learn and hone their skills with other players alike without prejudice.

We are an adult badminton club so no under 18's make up our memberships, (you will be ask to provide your D.O.B to verify that you are over 18 years old if necessary).

We started as a small group of 4-5 players playing around every two weeks, just as a casual hobby, quickly gaining love for the sport we aimed to increase how often we played, however with the departure of two of players in the early stages, we faced alot of cancelled sessions, which didn't sit right with us so we eventually started branching out to find more people to join us, eventually we gathered around 8 players to play weekly, with rapid success of gathering players we decided to official start the journey of becoming a club in august of 2024. From then it's been a journey of ups and downs, but overall we have found great success in the club from going from a small group of 8 to a medium sized group of players, increasing the frequency and quaility of our sessions and becoming a Badminton England Affiliated club, acquiring a school venue with many other great accomplishments. But our journey does not end here we intend to keep growing a keep striving aiming to be apart of the top clubs in the borough. We want everyone who joins us at our sessions to enjoy themselves, having the ability to imrpove and hone their skills as well as an avenue to social with other like-minded indiviuals.
